When should I see my hosta growing back? Planted last year. No sign of it yet.

For me it will most likely be end of April to early May.

That video is well worth watching. Chris is one of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to Hosta Virus X and a heck of a nice guy too.

Nice to see some fresh hostas. Soon we will have some leaves unfurling with all this warm weather.

I found these unfurling today. Two of my earlier ones to make an appearance every year.

Nothing coming up yet, even with 80deg weather, with all the snow we had it looks like a glacier went through

Still have snow in the back yard but it's going fast with temps today at 28C. Crocuses are in full bloom in front of the house. I HOPE the hostas don't show up for a couple more weeks as they are less likely to be damaged in a cold snap.

87 here today, only 3 areas of snow in the neighborhood. Possible snow on Sunday. Bulbs came up fast, with the warm temp and winds from the south, the crocus and snowdrops are fading fast.

We melted almost everything except where there were big drifts. but tomorrow temps are going back down. The crocus were blooming and the tulips and daffodil shoots were there under the snow. But no Hosta showing up and I'm hoping they won't for awhile because the temps at night are going to be hard freezing. It was so exciting to be able to walk some places in my garden at last although it was kind of scary because it was hard to find anyplace to step because of the deer manure. I've never seen so much ever so that doesn't bode well for the plants. As soon as every thing starts coming up I'll have to get out and spray for them.

I ordered Glad Rags from NGP to replace the one that I lost. I also saw a new one (?) at a nursery that I may have to get later this season.

Rose, do you have a pic of Glad Rags, I looked at when the first offered it, seems like the colors are all over the place, even on their site!
