@crawgarden. I don't live by Homestead perennials but I have a story to tell about them. I ordered from them late last winter and got a confirmation. I waited until I think it was late June as I hadn't heard from them and no plants had shown up and I emailed them. No response. When nothing still showed up later, I emailed them again and asked that they would let me know when I might expect the plants. No Response. Finally, at the end of the summer, I got an email from them that said they had not had a good summer with the drought and I would not be receiving the plants. I responded that at that point, since they hadn't responded to my emails, I was not expecting the plants and that I would have been upset if they had sent them because I had purchased other plants to fill the holes that were meant for the plants I had ordered from them. They sent the money back and that was the end of it.
I wouldn't have been upset about it if they had responded to the emails and explained that they were having problems but that didn't happen so I will not be ordering from them again. Maybe my experience was an anomaly and they are normally a good place to work with. But I wanted to let you know what my experience was so you can decide if you want to take the risk.
