K & K Gardens Hawkeye, Iowa has it for sale. I'm not guaranteed that I'm getting it though. They don't ask for payment until it's ready to ship. I'd still like to find another Blue Lettuce, but that one may no longer be available. If RJ would stop posting pictures of his I'd forget about how cool it would look in my gardens had it lived! Hilarious!

At least it's well insulated from the cold temps! I'll have to watch LOTG's website to see if they're selling online this year. I think they had it on their list before they both passed away.

Their website states that they won't be taking orders for shipping because someone has a broken wrist. I think they're one of the nurseries that I follow on Facebook. I'll check them out there to see if that's for this spring. I couldn't find a price list.

@crawgarden. I don't live by Homestead perennials but I have a story to tell about them. I ordered from them late last winter and got a confirmation. I waited until I think it was late June as I hadn't heard from them and no plants had shown up and I emailed them. No response. When nothing still showed up later, I emailed them again and asked that they would let me know when I might expect the plants. No Response. Finally, at the end of the summer, I got an email from them that said they had not had a good summer with the drought and I would not be receiving the plants. I responded that at that point, since they hadn't responded to my emails, I was not expecting the plants and that I would have been upset if they had sent them because I had purchased other plants to fill the holes that were meant for the plants I had ordered from them. They sent the money back and that was the end of it.
I wouldn't have been upset about it if they had responded to the emails and explained that they were having problems but that didn't happen so I will not be ordering from them again. Maybe my experience was an anomaly and they are normally a good place to work with. But I wanted to let you know what my experience was so you can decide if you want to take the risk.

Thanks Susie, disappointing, but good to know. I have watched their site for a few years but have never ordered from them.

Thanks for that info. I think I'll look elsewhere.

I went there in person, once. Didn't find anything that was on their list. It was a beautiful site, but I do not need to return.

Ordered a replacement for the White Feather improved since I had the replacement certificate and a Captains Adventure so I would get the free shipping.

A neighbor got one for me, of course the company shipped it very late, have it in a container under a lot of leaves and now snow, will be interesting to see if it makes it.

Which one? White Feather or Captain's Adventure?
