I would love to have some from an old homestead. Not going to find that around here though. Not too many crinum growers around here.
Someone on Dave's found some of the parrot glads growing wild I would have been out there with my trowel asap!! I just cannot imagine finding those or clumps of crinums.

You know that you'd need much more than a trowel, lol! Finding the parrot glads would be wonderful, wouldn't it?! I'd be digging, too...

Yes some of those crinum clumps probably would require a back hoe at the very least.

No idea which one the last one is. I moved a biunch a crinum about 1-2 years ago and in the middle of moving them I had some very helpful kids make a pile of all the tags.

Yep you got to love them. Big Grin I have taken to not worrying to much about the plant tags since I also have helpful chickens, cats and dogs to break dig up and move plant tags.

I've always wanted to have chickens, but I don't think the present dog children would play nice even if they were allowed here.

I would love some but I have killed it several times so I think it might not like my growing conditions. There are times when I really wish I lived some place where things grew and multiplied other than mexican evening primrose Big Grin
