Exciting, Nan! My Halloween Green was a gift from Darlyn Wilkinson, the lady who owns Greywood Farms. After several years of me being disappointed that it wasn't available, I found a box at my house one day with a few fans of HG…out of the blue! I love it!

MantisOH, yes, unfortunately for the world, Rip Van Winkle is a seedling by Pat Ball. Most of my garden names are historically derived from the seedling number. Rip Van Winkle was written in 1819 and the seedling is 18-019.

One last yard section, then I should go to bed. I'm enjoying this project!

Beautiful pictures of Holiday Delight, Ice Carnival, Bandit Man plus hydrangea, Smuggler's Gold, and Alabama Jubilee. That last one never did well here. You'd think it would with a name like that, but no. I finally gave it away.

I love the last shot labeled Upper Bed, Upper Half. And the beach pics make me homesick. We have nice beaches here, but they don't look the same.

Thanks Nan! At this point my yard was in full peak bloom, just waterfalls of flowers…I absolutely love Alabama Jubilee, huge, strong, amazing color. But I think it's a hard dormant.

I am very interested in that photo of Watermelon Time. It looks nicer than the other ones in the database. You should upload it there for public viewing. I wonder what is in your garden that has given some daylilies really cool spots?

My neighbor Theresa is a huge gardener too and Daylily Hill extends downward into her yard. She has a marvelous garden there and we have walking paths into each other's yard, which is great, we get to extend the flower territory.
