Just finished looking at all my 2022 pics and I've got more really ugly daylily pictures.
Holly Hill Tangelo may not always be perfect but it's never been this bad.
Glowing Inferno wasn't recognizable to me from this picture. It typically looks so much better than this.
A very spotty Tennyson.
James the Dragon Slayer's FFO. There is nothing worse than a really large ugly flower.
The worst Julianna Lynn I've ever seen in my garden.
A very sad Pearl Hammond flower with what it should look like.
FFE for Matthew Martin. Very disappointing!
Gauguin looking so awful I mistook it for Fruit Loops (a Wild diploid)!
Spacecoast Krinkles missing some parts.
Same with FFO of Hanalei Bay.
Holly Hill Blazer looking very misshapen.
Another sad bloom of Matthew Martin. It did eventually get better but it took a long time!
I'll end on maybe not an ugly bloom but a very odd one. Double Sunset Glow with small splotches of color. In all my years of having it I'd never seen a bloom like this.
Oddly enough there were no ugly flowers by late July. They were almost all perfect by then.
