Hello all,
I am still fairly new to semps(last year) and wanted a more experienced opinion. I got a few semps when I helped a friend with her garden work. She had this one marked as pink charm. Not sure from looking at database but do know they can look different with temp and time of year. Help is appreciated. nodding

Lisa, we should get Goldfinch Chris to look at this. She has this in her collection and the pics in database are all hers of Pink Charm. Yoo Hoo, Chris.....?

I heard you calling Bev! Rolling on the floor laughing

Hi Lisa, since that looks like a very young plant yet, I'm sure it will be going through some major changes as it grows up. The basic leaf shape looks correct, and I see yours has the fine cilia on the leaf edges, so it could very well be Pink Charm. I just went out and looked at mine, and I don't have any young chicks right now, so mine is mostly the olive green color. Here is a picture of mine with some younger chicks that look similar.

I suggest you keep an eye on it and keep comparing it to the database pictures as it matures to be sure.

Thanks! It was my first time trying hyper tufa and I was not sure how well the glass beads would work.
Here is another with glass beads ( and a sedum)

I lined part of the inside of the mold shape with the gravel before pushing in the hyper tufa mixture.
