I grew up in the cassette and CD stage, and never upgraded to an MP3 player. I actually would like to own a record player but they, as well as records, are too expensive.
Riley, my folks' unit predated those you linked, probably early 50s. I wasn't especially interested in the record player or radio, I wanted that beautiful cabinet. I was ahead of the curve in my tastes back in the 80s — now mid-century modern is crazy popular and sought after.

My stuff has to stay in the front room, which is only half as long as the lounge. There's no room in it for a jukebox, just the wall boxes.
So my jukeboxes have to live in our summerhouse down at the bottom of the garden. "I like to play them when I'm busy working down there."
