Yes! I am quite pleased with my succulents this year. They were all doing great and handled my winter. I am so pleased with them.

It is okay, the topic is still relevant Hilarious! and timely. I am making an inventory of plants (especially succulents) that thrive our winter without having need for cover. This way, one less thing I need to fret about when winter time.

I am really quite pleased with my roses too. I had the biggest most gorgeous bloom on my roses this winter. They liked the rainy cold winter. So I got inspired to give it another chance and bought this one.

That's a beauty of a rose Gigi. Thumbs up

This orchid was my aunt's, she lived near me in Orl. and passed about ten years ago, I kept her orchid. She had it outside for many years, so who knows how old it is. I know it has been out in temps lower than freezing many hours, blooms every year this time. Dendrobium nobile

Aunt Phurby was my favorite aunt, she loved gardening. I have many items in my garden that were hers, she was creative with making art out of unique items for her garden. Many of my plants were starts from her. Lovey dubby

That orchid was all dried up hanging in her carport when after she passed. I remember my mom asking me why I wanted a dead plant, I knew what it was and hoped it would bounce back...it did!

Wow Lovey dubby amazing! You need to propagate them as back ups. I used to have a lot of beautiful dendrobiums and Cattleyas, Then I never divided them. And they just slowly dwindled away.

That's why I said in the other forum, I like desert roses (and plumeria too), at least I get seedpods out of them. So I have endless supply.

Thanks Gigi, I have propagated, gave to friends and family, the original is still in the basket my Aunt had it in.
