Use ordinary old fashioned hairpins (not bobby pins) to secure things like iris & daylily seedlings until they can stand on their own.

Good one! I'm always bending wire and whatever might hold up. The hairpin is perfect.

I can't find the large hairpins only the small ones. I use wooden skewers used for BBQ's.
