Hola.

Hello. I have a lily that blooms without a stem, I have planted it in different parts of the garden to see if it was an effect of light or temperature but it does not change, this year I have it in a pot (plant pot) and it blooms without a stem as well.
I live in Atenas, Costa Rica, a warm climate and the rest of the lilies grow normally.

An amaryllis bulb that is planted too deeply may not produce a flower stalk. To correct the problem of deep planting, lift the bulb(s) in the fall and replant the healthy, firm bulbs at the proper depth. The amaryllis bulb should be planted so the neck is exposed above the soil line.

This should be in Amaryllis forum not Lilium.

Hi. If I'm reading this correctly, the posted photos show the flower and bulb. The last photo looks as if the neck of the bulb is out of the soil, but the bulb doesn't look very healthy. An unhealthy bulb could be producing these short blooms each year. Do the roots look good or have they rotted?
