Has anyone ever seen a pink praying mantis? I think it's a praying mantis....

Yes, it is a Mantis; there are many species and I'm not sure which that one might be but possibly the Chinese Mantis (Tenodera sinensis). https://www.dec.ny.gov/animals...

Hi Star, yes, a praying mantis. The species come in many color variations. This species in my garden is usually green or beige but got a bit pinkish for this portrait. I'm not sure if environmental factors play a role along with genetics.

Btw, this forum is generally for technical site issues (haha, I thought the your title "Bug" meant a tech glitch). Under "Community" in the menu is a long list of various forum topics. Looks like a male Chinese mantis.
