Along a fence I have 2 companions that seem to get along nicely...asparagus and strawberries. The strawberry leaves help to conserve moisture and the asparagus seems to be more fruitful. This combination was really a matter of convenience as I was running out of room.

Now I have added a third component to the mix. Green peas have been planted along the fence.

Has anyone done anything similar to this? I call this my "3 Brothers" planting!😁

there was a mention asparagus and raspberries in mother earth news or another garden mag but can't remember the third in the combination.
I have a list named combinations I compiled few years back. I hope you don't mind
me adding your three brothers to that list.
if you would like copy of named combination list that
list let me know.

Hm. Maybe I'll add strawberries to my asparagus bed which isn't very thick with asparagus.
At keast, move my few surviving strawberries there for nore sun than where they are.
Plant it and they will come.
