The fungus that attacks cucumbers and muskmelons (and less frequently squash and pumpkins) occurs mainly in the East.


Since this is a global site, how is someone NOT from the USA going to know what "East" means?

At minimum, I suggest changing it to"eastern USA and other parts of the world".

I don't know why the article originally mentioned the east anyway. I just removed that reference altogether. Thanks for the pointer.
