This site is great because when I saw this photo I said "I have to have that plant", then I looked at all the other photos posted.
This was the only one that actually showed the layed or hose in hose look, the other photos showed how this plant looks as a normal peony style double. Decided I did not have to have the plant after all.

The blooms are breathtaking....either way! Such a robust plant that came out of winter and a late freeze with flying colors! I'm definitely a fan of this cultivar, and seeing the blooms both ways is always fun. I love this site as well as it helps see the possible variations in color/form etc. In some cases, there is a broad range.
