but I don't think it will this spring. I'll replace it if need be - It is a beautiful little plant and surviving two years tells me it might have potential in Oklahoma City. [It's time for me to repeat read the article on micro-climates.]
This fern is hardy from zones 7 to 10 - which suggest it is more adaptable to heat than to cold. It is native on limestone rocks and walls in circumneutral soil in southern and western North America - which suggests it might be happy in central Oklahoma limestone soils.
I certainly hope so - because it makes a striking counterpoint to the large leaves of the hosta.
