I bought 2 nice very large dahlias today at the farmers market. They are Gogo Dahlias. The seller said they can withstand our heat here in Florida. I'm hoping that's true because they are gorgeous. Anyone have experience to contribute?

Blue stone perennials has some. It mentions that it is compact.

But will the heat kill it? That's what I'm asking
