Finally getting my computer back in order, but have lots of photos to name. Here are a few clumps that I liked today.

Hello Screamer
Thumb of 2023-06-25/blue23rose/c5150b

Sh'Boom - still a small clump, but this will be a monster in a few years.
Thumb of 2023-06-25/blue23rose/39cee7

Aqua Tech (with Ruby Spider) - pay no mind to those rusty poles, I hope to get them painted or out of there in the coming fall. They look awful, I know. I like the rustic "look", not rust.
Thumb of 2023-06-25/blue23rose/6fa1b9

And here is a clump shot of a different kind. South Seas - The first pic was taken on June 17 and was doing so well since we took out the Japanese cherry tree out 2 years ago.
Thumb of 2023-06-25/blue23rose/d0f39a

And here is a pic of the South Seas clump today. My dh backed over it Thursday with the truck while I was staying at my moms. I thought he was joking when he texted me saying he felt really bad about backing over one of my daylilies. Can I just say that I couldn't even look at it for two days because it made me mad every time I thought about it.... Even though he felt really bad about, there was no excuse for it. Hard to stay mad though, since he was doing me a favor by picking up all the debris I left in a pile.

Nice ones, Vickie. At least DH left you some scapes. Aren't the ones on the outside supposed to be more vigorous than the ones in the middle anyway?

Finally back and enjoying everyone's lovely pictures. Vickie, sorry to hear about South Seas, but hope it can bounce back. Not anything really new here, pretty much the same-o, same-o.
Hudson Valley, this one plant of HV has done exceptionally well this year. And, the fragrance just makes it that much better.

So Lovely--these are our proliferations that we grow as replacements as needed, particularly since the gophers destroyed most of our So Lovely border last year. These may be transplanted in the fall.

Avedon - Thanks for the acorn. I love Dr. McGregor's Garden!

Vickie - I relish seeing your clumps with their companion plants. It's a shame about your South Seas clump.

Here are some more of my clumps:

Star Lord is the best all-around purple I grow.

This is a seedling out of Inimitable that will likely be my next registration. The photo shows about half the clump. Unfortunately there were no flowers open in the middle, and the ones on the opposite side faced a different direction.

All beautiful Debra; I tend to like the dark/purple/purple blends so love all of those. Your seedling is lovely.

Thanks Avedon and Debra!

Avedon, I can almost smell Hudson Valley from here. Hilarious! Mine should be opening this week some time, I think.

Debra, for only half a clump, that seedling out of Inimitable is very showy! I have the same problem sometimes with a clump that has a gap in the blooms that just doesn't look good in the pictures, so it just doesn't get to be in the picture. Rolling on the floor laughing

Debra, Clarification has such pretty blooms. My clump is having an off year. Half of it is tall, the other half is short. Three pictures of the same clump: from the front, from the side, and one at just the right angle so it doesn't look so funky.

Vickie - Your Clarification still looks pretty, even with the height differential. My clump of All American Chief looks like that this season. Clarification is performing better than 90 percent of my other daylilies this year. It has tall, well-budded and well-branched scapes with bud counts in the mid to high 20s. Thanks for commenting on my seedling!

Vickie, love the Clarification clump even if the heights are uneven. I'm really sorry about your South Seas. A couple of summers ago, I lost all the scapes and buds from two plants I had planted next to the driveway that were run over. However, I can't blame anyone else as I was the one who ran them over. *Blush*

Thanks, Nan! We were watching something on TV yesterday that put things into perspective for me. Losing a clump of daylilies is nothing compared to what others are going through.
