Planed Ozark Rebounder [tall bearded] last year and wow i'm really impressed with the 2 blooms. Dark purple almost black. Only started with Irises last year or so, i understand why so many are hooked on them.

I'm fairly new to irises as well and I've added close to two dozens varieties already...as you said it's easy to get hooked! Really love the dark purple ones as well.

I have a stream in my backyard and recently planted a bunch of Japanese [Ensada] Irises. My bearded Irises have been slow to bloom but are looking fantastic so far this year. Every year i discover a new plant and buy too many. I'm running out of room.
