I purchased this in March 2023, was planted inground and from then on til now, this is what it looks like. I'm trying to contact seller and he's too busy or ignoring me. But b4 I give up on this, what is your assessment. I have 7 other dwarf JM and feel experienced enough to care for them. What do u think? This is Orangeola

I have 3 JMs in large pots and missed waterings where the leaves completely dried and turned crispy, eventually dropping prematurely. I thought they were goners but I kept them a bit damp until the rainy season. The next year the leaves returned like normal!

I would continue care even if the seller replaces it.

@pardalinum, you know, what kinda gardener would I be if I weren't overly optimistic. I had been thinking about letting it be to see if new foliage would emerge. You've made me decide for sure to let it be and hope for best.

Thanks all

Good decision! Don't expect new leaves this year though, so be patient.
