I moved from a suburban small garden to 3 acres four years ago. I had all the room to garden but because of the prep time needed I just plunked them in the one spot that I could prepare quick.

Now it is time to spread them out. But this area is the view I have that I have from my bedroom window. Because I have a private landscape. I do not have drapes and my bedroom is on the first floor and has a window from floor to ceiling. I can lay in the bed and gaze at my hostas.

This is what I started with.... 100' x 40'

First year it looked like this.....

Now I need to unpack this garden. I have completed the hillside next to this with rich Hosta soil.

Thank you. I am trying to go for a uncontrolled woodland garden look. But like I said I will need to spread them out a little this Fall.
