We found some on the Crape Myrtle and we've never seen them before.
Just want to know if we can leave them alone or should remove them.
And if anyone can identify this creature for us... Thanks!

Gosh I have no idea, never seen any like that before. I did a search for FL and still nothing like that came up. Probably some kind of moth.

Check out the yellow woolybear and salt marsh moths on this page. I can't confirm they are ID'd correctly there but they look like yours. Unless your tree is in danger of losing all of its leaves, I wouldn't do anything. They're just critters doing what they do.
