Last year I was bowled over when I saw a picture of Renaissance Place that @Valery33 posted. I went looking for it and found Sutton was selling it but was already sold out for 2022.

I went to order it this year but it was no longer listed in their inventory. I just wrote to them to ask if they might have it in the future or any info on other sellers in the US (I have not been able to find any)

If it comes down to ordering it from overseas, does anyone know how to do that? Is it really expensive? If so, maybe a "group buy" would make sense if anyone else is interested.

I see that Dachsylady86 has posted pictures of it. Last I heard she was going to go commercial with irises, but she hasn't been on here in a long time. You might want to send her a tree mail and see if she still has it.

I loved Renaissance Place.I ordered it to plant last summer way back in Feb.of 22 from Sutton.They refunded my money ,because it didn't grow enough to be avaliable.Of course it was the one I was looking so forward to getting the most in my order.I didn't see it was available this year from them.

Good day! The Renaissance Place variety is not distinguished by the best qualities of growth and reproduction. Little bushes. And not large flowers. On a high agricultural background, it blooms beautifully, but difficult in an iris culture.

Thank you, Valeria. This explains why we are no longer able to find it here. Such a pity, because the colors and form are so beautiful.

Great news! Sutton's said they'd try to get me one even tho it's not in the system. So I guess it will be up to me to make that baby thrive so I can dole it out to Derylin and any others who want it.
