I don't think the plants would appreciate that very much! The bottom was rusted out, so I used hardware cloth and made a bottom, very fast draining, in fact in summer this might be a problem, we'll see!!
Thanks Chris!! I'm happy with it! Actually I'm pretty happy with my yard right now! There is lots of weeding to be done, but I'm saving it for another day!
I missed this too. I know how I missed it.....I do not get into my pots until summer. I come here looking for ideas. Now where is the window to throw it out.

Jo Ann - yep, me too, not a fishing camp but cabin camping in western Michigan (I'm from Detroit) and our big summer get away was near Grand Rapids. Who knew these pots would have even more uses!
