This lily was planted about 10 years ago and even though it was a less than ideal spot, it has adapted and blooms beautifully each year. However, I have no idea what it is...there are no markings and petals aren't particularly recurved...can anyone venture a guess?

Busy building a lily collection...
Cody - my guess is that it is Lilium tsingtauense or a hybrid derived from it. Are the leaves whorled; i.e., all the leaves start at one point on the stem then there's a gap of several inches before the next set of leaves start (see some photos and a description at https://www.bdlilies.com/ls149...). If so then this would clearly differentiate a martagon-type lily from a 'spider-form' Asiatic. Also the timing of the bloom suggests a martagon-type lily, of which Lilium tsingtauense is one. Perhaps someone who grows this species can provide a better ID, but this is my guess. Hope this helps; you have a nice lily there...

thank you Steve, for the good tip about the foliage...it's exactly as you describe!
And thank you Lucius93, it is in fact Marmalade! Looks exactly right.
