HUGE sigh of relief hearing the IRS check is to be in the mail tomorrow. Such GOOD news!
Buddha Boy gorilla style chest pounding Too funny! Makes me smile just thinking about it.
It's the moments in life. Those fleeting moments. They may be quick but they make us feel good for far longer than the moment actually lasted. I'm still smiling picturing BB doing chest pounding & I think just as happy a picture is you teaching him how to.

Thank you, Ann. Still can't helping waiting for that shoe to drop, so holding off on the dancing here until the check is in the bank.
I am firmly of the opinion that lots of positive attention to children when young helps keep them happy campers as they grow older. Much less trouble to themselves and others as they become adolescents and young adults. More secure in themselves. I am really looking forward to being able to get blocks and books and learning toys for both these kids, to teach them and to watch them discover new things.
I do the same when it involves us --- wait for the other shoe to drop. But I feel good about other people's stuff.
I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of positive attention when kids are kids. And I'm glad you are there to work with these 2 who would otherwise likely end up in bad straights if you know what I mean.

I do. Especially the older baby. Mama just doesn't have what it takes, and doesn't recognize it. But, I am thinking that is the reason I am here and they are here with me?
