I saw this yesterday at Lukas nursery in Sanford, FL and thought it was so pretty.

I saw that at Lukas, reminds me of Snow bush (Breynia disticha).

From a distance that is exactly what I thought it was. Really stunning display up close though.

You know, although they did have a padlocked area with signs saying security cameras were in use for the rare stuff, the rest of the material was pretty typical but it was just that they had so much, in all different sizes, and everything was in good shape. The pic on this page gives you some idea of the size. They also have property across the street where I assume they grow or just store plants and trees.

Holy moley Batman you'd need a golf cart to see it all!

We wondered why they did not offer some type of electric vehicle for older or disabled persons. The employees were scooting around in golf carts.

Hmmm try variegated Asiatic Jasmine are really ground cover. I used to get it confused with the variegated Star Jasmine that is also beautiful with white variegated leaves but blooms smell really good.

I actually go for exercise, hoof it all around the place. They sell to a lot of landscapers, the property across the street is a lot of plants for that.
It's a fun place to stop in, most plants are overpriced in the greenhouse, they LOVE their plants. But I find some really good deals too, they have a rewards plan, so you get points, and ten dollars off on your birthday month, sometimes I have a $20 credit by the time my birthday rolls around. Wed is senior day, think 55 and up, get 10% off purchase.

I have Oviedo plants, Gabriella's plants, and Lukas all within 10 miles from my house....lucky me.

Their annuals, in 4" pots were 10 for $12. The plants were all well grown and full, I thought that was a good price. I did not look in the locked cage to see what they had or how much but I imagine it was pricey stuff. That place would be good for exercise.

I don't know if they still do it, but kids get to pick one free annual plant when with an adult. On Mother's day they give all mothers a free annual plant.

That's a good price Alice, Home Depot and Lowe's sell the variegated ones in a small pot for $6.99. I keep looking and looking because I am a wannabe bonsai lover but I never get around to trimming anything so they never make it to bonsai form

Asian Jasmine (Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Variegatum')

It does bloom, and the blooms do smell great! I'd love to ground it, but without knowing what to expect, it's still in the pot. I don't know if it will creep and expand its' footprint, or climb a shady tree trunk. I can't use it as a ground cover, where baby trees would have to be pulled out of it.

It's so weird that I was shopping around for rentals in Sanford last night to see if there is something we like at a time when we want to go, then saw this discussion today. That's close enough to drag plants home, but too far for going over and back in 1 day. Some might think it doable, but I can't sit in the car for that long in a single day. I've been anxious to go back to the Greek restaurant there and do more landscape gawking, walking around the neighborhoods.

Tiffany, if you're in Sanford you gotta take a trip to Lukas nursery, it's only 20 minutes away from downtown Sanford via 417 toll road.

I have interesting pothos variegation, half moon leaves. It's not Golden pothos which is all over my garden, must have been a Marble Queen escapee.
