It's great that you found such nice plants locally. Nobody around here carries any named semps. Beautiful colors on both your tender succulents. Thumbs up

Thank you all!
The Semps I got are:
Lilac Time
Pacific Blue Ice
Cobweb
gloriosum x orange pictured in the strawberry pot.
They had a lot of other varieties.
I might go back and get more.
Plus some close-ups of my other newbies. Big Grin

Thanks!
I'll take a close up of it tomorrow.
Not really very orange right now.

Oh lookie what I saw on Pinterest tonight! I wish!

This one is "Blitzeis"
Is it really that pastel green/pink?

The first photo has had the color enhanced, not the true colors.
Second photo is of an arachnoideum type of sempervivum that appears to be needing more light.

Nice plants Vicky! I also like the other terra cotta/green pot in the photo with the strawberry pot. Did you paint it or did it come that way?

I knew the 1st pic was color enhanced...I just meant "I wish" semps came in those colors. Drooling
Greg I was hoping somebody here could ID that semp but did you see what valleylynn said?
Goldfinch I got the pot that way from Wal Mart. I love all the glazed pots they have now.
Some are even "frost resistant"
I left one out last winter with semps in it and it didn't break.
Been sort of collecting them and past my concrete and terra cotta pot phase for now anyway. Hilarious!
I love this new blue too.

When I looked at pic, I thought it didn't look its best either. But strangely, this particular stressed look is interesting, isn't it?

That's what I thought too, it does look pretty cool. Lots of succulents look awesome when stressed.

Vicky, love the blue pot too and the plants you've potted up in it look great - nice selections! Hurray!

Absolutely love that blue pot Vicky. I love the blue watercolor affect. Lovey dubby

I agree with both of you on the beauty of some of our semps when stressed. And the above arch type is truly lovely, in fact it seems to highlight the cilia and tufting.

Well I'm disappointed to learn its just some poor stressed semp instead of some cool variety.
I thought it might be a tender semp. Oh well. Sad

I had to remove the Pinerest Pics because they weren't mine.
To see them and more go to Pinterest and type in Sempervivum in the search bar.
