Thanks Hetty! Those names don't ring a bell but I did have one or two Plumeria from a trade that had no tags.

edited to add: I believe the lady who gave them to me said she got them from Hawaii.

What a collection Hetti! I only have one color and a lot of plants and a few are starting to just start now. I'll send you a picture when they do so you can help me identify it. It has pinks and yellows in it like some of yours I've seen. I thumbed all my favorites for you, that first Chinese Red looking on is something else! I tip my hat to you.

I've had lots of new growth this summer, but just the odd bloom. Now that it has stopped raining for a few days here, I am seeing what I hope to be some buds starting up.

My Penang Peach still has hardly any rust! I think this is a small miracle given how wet the weather's been this summer. I had to use some Physan fungicide on my orchids a couple of times, and the plumerias just sort of 'got in the way' of the remaining spray so I thought I would try it. What a charm! Although I generally do not use any chemicals, 1tsp. of Physan to 2gal. of water doesn't seem like too much toxic stuff to spray around in order to prevent all that rust. That 2gal. sprayed over 100 orchids as well as the whole pool cage screening, the patio tiles, a few cannas and the 3 little plumerias.

Variegated yellow one is doing well, but not exactly what I'd call vigorous. It can't take the intense summer sun without the white areas of the leaves burning, it seems. I'm going to move it to the south side of the house for the winter, and see if it will come along and bloom next spring before the sun gets too hot for it.

Is it too late to say I LOVE PLUMERIAS?
:)
Went through all the pics, and when I said to myself "this is my favorite" oops, I saw another pic, and another...
I was lucky to see real ones while in Taiwan and Thailand, and I even brought a couple cuttings that did well for a year or so, then they just produced spidermites and I couldn't control THAT.
Sometimes I feel saaad.
But well, we can't grow everything. Can we?

Lucky lady, Hetty! It is in the 20's here at night, and we will have five consecutive nights of those cold temperatures.

@Dutchlady1 Hi Hetty....I know this is an old thread, but was enjoying reading through it. Saw your entry on Stenopetala and saw your photo of one in a hanging basket. Lovey dubby it! You mentioned Florida Colors had some, so checked and they had none listed as currently available. Do you know any sources for this plumeria that would be suitable for hanging? OR are there other types that would be suitable for hanging? Thank You! in advance.
Mary

I recommend you call them and ask about it; their website does not usually list it.
