I have tons more, but they have been neglected over the winter. I have a huge kalanchoe which was propagated from one I had for 10 years that I humanely killed by freezing when it was dying from a severe scale insect infestation. The opuntia that I have pictured came from one I had for 5 years and it was 4 feet tall with 4" spines, and I gave it away after it nearly killed me a few times

I have often deliberately put my succulents to the limits during winter. And I do have some losses, but I see some that are really toughies. Helps me understand better what they can take. Always fun seeing them come back with vigor come warmer weather. So pretty sure your collection will thrive happily once more. Smiling

Our winters are mild, so my jade tree survives well, turns very reddish especially when cold, had been able to make it bloom once, though only on one branch.. Smiling But I always dread changing seasons, especially from winter to spring, we get some hail at times, so it gets some battle scars, other than that it endures well.

Can I mention that I love your avatar, xShain? It reminds me of how I feel and look after I look on the internet to scan hundreds of apt rentals in a foreign country... Blinking

Nice collection. I only have two indoor cactus only because they were a gift.

I have several (Prickly pear cactus) Opuntia that are hardy that are outside. I have a cactus succulent garden. I put them in the corner to themselves and will never touch them again. I was gardening and forgot they were there one time and sat on them. That was painful for weeks.
