Name: Trowel&Error
Chicago
The person that lived in my house before me planted these ferns under a 100 year old juniper tree. The ferns have stopped coming back and are very sparse now. Do you know what type of ferns they are? What natives can I plant under my juniper tree?

Ferns like a relatively moist environment, could that be the issue?
As Yogi Berra said, “It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”
