Hi there!

2nd year growing vegetables (and strawberries) - was briefly interrupted by an adolescent German Shepherd Rolling my eyes.

Anyways, the first year things were great but eventually the leaves of most things got devoured. I'm going to guess worms/caterpillars/etc., but I never see them... don't really see aphids either.

I can usually easily enough identify snails, but tougher to see what causes these holes. This year I built an enclosure and am using Captain Jack's Dust.

Hello, Just noticed your post. It's been over a month so you have probably already discovered the problem.
But it looks like typical bird damage to me. Tiny little birds land right on the leaves and have a feast. They particularly love all my brassicas, bean plants, cucumbers, squashes, etc. I don't think they've ever bothered my tomato leaves, just the ripe tomatoes. When I see a lot of that kind of damage I usually cover the plant in tulle. It's cheap and works quite well. Happy gardening.
