At an Iris Convention several years ago. I met David Toth of Indian Creek Iris. He and both his daughters hybridize and he did a presentation on it They have all done some amazing work. You can find his Irises and his daughters listed on the David Toth Facebook page. He also has an Indian Creek facebook page. So there are a few younger ones out there but not many that I am aware of.

Donald's wife Ginny is a hybridizer too.

Ginny has been running Winterberry for awhile now since Don's illness, before he passed, left him unable to handle the day to day operations. Ginny has quite a few registered iris under her belt. She is very active in the AIS Region 4 events (my club is part of Region 4).

I'm glad she is still running the nursery.

Looks like there are over 50 irises registered by Ginny Spoon in the DB, so that is indeed 'quite a few'!

I've had this one on my wish list for a while, but I don't remember ever seeing any of her irises here in Europe.

I think it is mostly a matter of getting someone to ship her irises internationally. Most of the iris growers on the east coast have smaller operations and don't get the licensing and such for international shipping.
