You have such a beautiful container garden and in-ground garden.

I am curious, how do you protect these winter time? Or do you have to start these every year?

Thank you so much Gigi.

I take cuttings of my coleus and winter them over inside. Plus every year I buy new ones to add to my collection.

My begonias, I bring in and winter them over in a dormant state in my attached garage, along with any other plants that are tender.

Most my plants stay outdoors and get through the winter just fine though, in spite of being in pots.

We have pretty mild winters here. Mostly just chilly and wet.

That's great to know. Maybe I can start the same. This year has been dry summer though and some of my plants died because I had no time to water them. My desert roses and plumerias are the only ones that like not being watered.

I'm very tired of watering by this time of the year. I'm watering almost everyday for hours. So I'm looking forward to some down time. 😄

Hilarious! I was wondering how you keep them lush and beautiful!
