We've recently been seeing these insects with shells that look like sunflower seeds moving very slowly in our bedroom, by the bed. If I clean them up in the morning, a few of them will show up again by the evening. They have tiny heads and that look like the tip of a needle. They crawl very slowly and most of the time they do not move at all. The flooring is laminate.

Rj, OP said south Florida.

Can't ID, but looks like a larval form of something and would have emerged from tiny eggs. Do you have houseplants?
