I have the first labeled as 'Little Pale Face' and I think it matches the AHS description. But when I added it to my list the second picture matches what is in the ATP database. Things that make you go HUMMM?

Confused

The second picture is not tagged.

I am not sure what your asking? You have two plants that look different, one has a tag and one does not and you would like to know which one is correct?

Or, are you saying that the second photo came from ATP database and you don't think that photo is of the correct plant?

I looked up Little Pale Face on the AHS database. No photo and very little description. That is pretty common with the older cultivars.

Going from the pics in the database and the only other one I can find with google, your second photo more resembles Little Pale Face. LPF is registered as a 2.75" bloom; the first photo of yours looks much bigger than that.

Juli The second question, Which one is correct?

Thank you Michele. The two are very similar in size, both height and bloom. The Coral color must mean coral pink not coral orange. Both daylilies were purchased at the beginning of the addiction. Love being able to get second opinions.

Ok, Liz! Now I see. If we knew where the hybridizer was from, you could write to the daylily club close to their location and possibly someone there still grows it.

Otherwise, I don't know how to tell. The one I found online might be the wrong one, and your top image might be right.

It's such a puzzle sometimes!
