We have a lot of voles and when I plant new shrubs or planting in general, I surround them with daffodil bulbs. I should have dug some up in the spring when the foliage had died so I could be planting now but I didn't and I have some propagated hydrangeas eyeing me with hostility. I could look at pictures and probably find some, but really I'd like to go buy a big old bag of February Gold or Tete a Tete and get on with life.
