Name: John Scott County, KY (Zone 5b) You can't have too many viburnums..
Yes, on unknowns pictures should be taken of whole plant, and then progressively finer features - especially with a hand or something in the picture for scale.
Being able to see if those are coniferous leaves or otherwise is extremely helpful. And telling us where it is growing.
