I had once a similar construction which I used to pass on bicycle: it is a very bad idea! The (very fast growing) hop strangles and sandpaper your neck if you do not pay a lot of attention. My neck was hurting and my shirt was bloodstained when I arrived at work (well, it made a nice story at jubilea etc. )

local brewery here grows it's hops on trellis and arches. very impressive but I haven't ridden a bicycle through it's branches. I'll be aware!
