It bloomed that very first year, but not the second, which is common for grafted tree peonies in my garden. They start blooming in their third year. The peony is in the shade, so I suppose it will take a bit longer to start blooming, especially because the first bud and flower were huge. I thought it was Godaishu, but later I figured out it was something else (pristine white with many petals).
