I got this from a friend today it says it's a pepperomia ginny? I told her I had a succulent that sort of resembles it
Thumb of 2023-09-26/Pricklypig22/d9bb41 I know they are not even the same but just similar thick leaves & the pink on edges so I was thinking maybe this ginny is a succulent of sorts??

"Succulent" is a broad description , not a botanical category. Yes, they are both succulents but unrelated. The second photo is a Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi, Lavender Scallops.

Both can be indoor or outdoor plants, depending on your climate and the time of year, although I see online that your 'Ginny' is tropical and generally sold as a houseplant.

This might help
