Thread OP

I live in Southern Colorado near the mountains. Almost every year we have 100 mph gusts, and a good amount of snow. We also have deer and bear eating our summer garden.

I am going to build a greenhouse using welded chain link top rails, and maybe posts. We are looking at a 10'x16' with Solexx covering.

We found a couple of companies that sell coupling kits, but I figured welded would be stronger.

I will keep reading posts on the site for info. When I search for top rail, most everyone uses a bender. My walls will be straight with a sloped roof like a standard house.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to NGA and to the greenhouses forum @GreenGrower2 Smiling .

Amanda has already given a shout-out to "Subarctic," aka Chip, who is very experienced at GH building and growing and lives in the north, I'm sure he and possibly others will have some good suggestions for you. Best of luck with your project, I hope you will share your progress with us here!

I'm a little late to this conversation, but Solexx offers free advice in using their products. I would contact them directly.
