We've had three Ekornes "Stressless" leather recliners purchased over the last ten years. For two we bought side tables, these fit on either arm like this.

But we decided the other day due to a near accident, to get one for the third, (small house few places for visitors to put down coffee cups and saucers...light beige carpet!)

I was astonished that these are now £89.
I looked on eBay and there were a few second-hand ones at £50 or more. So I looked in "completed listings" and saw a new one that didn't sell at £40, two weeks ago and hadn't been re-listed.

So I contacted the vendor and got it for £35.
It'll arrive later this week and it's the right colour!

Nice find, Riley! Once in awhile I get very lucky just at the time I'm looking for something very odd like that.

I regularly look at "completed listings" when I actually want something, as it's a good guide to what stuff is worth to people who go on e-Bay.

I do the same with completed listings, I completed a set of old gardening books that way. A seller had more volumes to the set than I wanted but they didn't sell. I contacted them asking if they'd consider just selling the few I was missing and they jumped at the chance to get rid of at least some of them, left both of us happy.

I haven't been to Ebay in a long time. Where do you find the "completed listings". I looked on the first page and didn't see it.

Go on eBay and find any item.
Scroll down, reading the headings on the left-hand side of the page.
There's a lot of them.
The last heading is, "Show Items"
In the middle of the list you'll find "Completed Items" and "Sold Items."

Click on "Completed Items." a new screen will come up showing what sold and at what price in green type and what didn't in black type.
