Salvias Celebrating Gardening: 2015
It's oct 23 2023.
Our nites finally are in the fifties and days are 83 degrees

The perennials are thankful to see the upper 90's to 100 degree days and warm nites over till next May

We hand pulled weeds and bought 12 bags of cypress blend mulch and added it to the older mulch in sheris healing flower 🌸 bed!

I do have a clematis in bloom with blue ensign salvia at the base in bloom .

The last hummingbird left oct 20.

We have two birdhouses and guess who is living in them?? Lol

A green lizard 🦎 has made a home 🏡 in each birdhouse for the past months.

The lizards stick their head out of the front hole entrance at precisely 7 am each day !

I get so amused and greet them daily !

We are putting some Aired out mulch today in each birdbox hoping to provide them a bed to lay on

Love the pic of the birdhouse with the lizard sticking his head out. That would be quite a treat. I see blue tailed skinks here pretty often now but I think that's the only type of lizard I've ever seen here maybe.

I'm glad you did… because that extra post gave me the opportunity to see your projects.
Fore your cutie pie lizard in the birdhouse.

Just a quick note.We have little clay pots I set upside down with a small clay chip opening on the side for a door entry for the frogs that hang out around the pond every year.
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”
