Ann, I've posted pic's of lizards before but I don't remember where .... old blonde that I am! I'm heading to bed now but in the morning I will see if I can find what threads I posted on.

Went out to get a picture of the garlic scapes when a cute dragonfly showed up. So I took its picture instead.

Very nice Ann! I wonder if the dragonfly is a Blue Dasher? Love the color on the Katydid. I didn't know much about them ... always thought of them as just ole' grasshoppers but I googled and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... Unfortunately it says they eat leaves, flowers and bark among other things!

Any entomologist out there? Saw this one on my fuschia. never seen it before. very pretty in person.

I think it might be a Widow Skimmer dragonfly (libellula luctuosa). I'll go find a link.

She sure did nail it! Boy Duane, that sure is one pretty dragonfly. I just love the coloring & pattern on those wings.

My first dragonfly for the year

Don't know what type it is but its kind always visit here at this time of the year. Sorry for the blurry shots..it has been windy here awhile ago. Glad dragonfly stays still regardless
