Injustice, the "perfect plant" doesn't have to be perennial or even expensive. Just that it complements the pot in a way you like

Sometimes it doesn't work out as planned 😆

I leave my largest heavy ceramic pots in place in the garden over the winter.

Knowledge counters trepidation.

When I choose a pot for a special planting, the guide I use is, it must compliment the planting w/o becoming a focal point and detracting from the plant material in the pot.
