Hello, I am new to this forum. I am looking for help in identifying a bug or parasite on my indoor fig trees. See attached pictures. Hopefully someone will know what this parasite is and what I can do to get rid of it.

You have scale. Shouldn't be too difficult to remove it from that small plant, then keep a watch out for outbreaks. Depending on your level of squeamishness, use your fingernails, a plastic spoon or a wooden chip to gently scrape them off. Or wipe them with 70% rubbing alcohol, then scrape. Get every single one.
