Last evening, I took a photo of Eternity, a brugmansia that just keeps on blooming! I had moved the pot out to the front sidewalk so my neighbors could enjoy it on their evening walks. I was getting ready to move it to the back when it started budding out again. I'm glad I left it out front.
The blooms were bright yellow at 6 PM. When we came home at 9:30, they were mostly all white. This morning, they've changed to pink and smell divine.

They probably look a little brighter because the sun was just popping over the fence and my flash went off.

I just love the color changes with the Angel Trumpet flowers. It's a different show each day for a while! Love the foliage beneath your big tree, too! You've given me some potting ideas for my barren-beneath-the-trees spot that I have. Gorgeous! Just gorgeous!

I have a love/hate relationship with brugs. They are beautiful, but they're also bug magnets. I just bought another container of Bayer's 3-in-1 to kill spider mites. Once it gets really hot, like now, the mites just take over the brugs.
Those coleus under the tree are from last year. I thought I'd put them all in one pot, but had too many other things to do. Thanks for such nice comments.

This huge pot is on the other side of the tree. I just never figured out what I wanted to do with it.

Just had to add one more Eternity brug photo. I managed to catch the new yellow blooms turning white this evening. They'll be pink in the morning.

How lovely! I was thinking my son would love those brugs in his yard but not sure he could deal with bugs well . I never knew the color changed so quickly. What is the first plant in the set with the bat face?

I can't keep a TX Star alive through an entire season. I've had both the red and white. Manage to kill them each year. Love the bloom.

Thanks Girls! I'm in zone 8. I have my Texas Star hibiscus in a huge pot, and she lives in the garage during the winter. It's 10 years old now!

My daylilies are mostly done, but I have crinums blooming.


These blooms were opening as we watched it! My husband brought out his camera and tripod and took stop action photos - it was magical!


Anyone want some NOID crinums? I had to move some and thinned out LOTS of bulbets!
