Sarah, those are some more gorgeous blooms. I love the Luna Pink Swirl, particularly!

One year I bought every Moy Grande, Luna Red, Kopper King, etc. I could find. I planted them down the side yard and they were beautiful all summer. I was told they'd come back next spring. They didn't. I may need to try them again, and garage them for winter. Thanks for tip!

Wow! Very pretty Marylyn and Sarah. I am impressed with the zinnias from seed. The only thing that I seem to get to grow are the spring annuals (larkspur, poppies and cornflowers) Do you start them in pots?
I love the iron weed. Is it perennial?

The over wintering in the garage seems to really make a difference with my hibiscus. Just don't forget to water them periodically in there!

The zinnias are started in the ground with Ferry Morse seeds. Here's another color!

Western Ironweed is great, but it can spread quite a bit. Woolly Ironweed is better about that, I believe. As far as I can tell, it only reproduces by seeds.

Mine has never spread, but it's in part shade, so maybe that keeps it in check. Smiling

I have the Brazilian verbena which is popping up everywhere. I would rather have one of those natives for a tall purple look
