Petchoa - the New Kid in Town

XPetchoa is a recent new genus. The plants are a genetic cross between a petunia and calibrachoa. The Petchoa is a milestone in plant breeding and the result is a combination of the best characteristics of both the petunia and the calibrachoa. It is an amazing plant for home gardeners who enjoy hanging baskets loaded with blooms all season.

WOW! Thanks for telling us about this great crossbred plant!
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I seen a bunch sold at a big box store (Canadian Superstore) garden centre in 5 " pots. Be sure to post photos if you get any.

Thank all for the comments on my garden pictures. Those photos were from 2010. This year, I more of the "petunia dark blue colour" and burgundy. It has been raining very heavy and I will take more photos once the plants bounce back

This garden centre had a bunch. It was a terrible day to take a photo since we just had 2 inches of rain.

I agree
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I read that the SuoerCal tolerates Florida heat. I am in zone 9 and have many SuperCals, but now they seem to be turning brown and dying. Is it the heat? Or is it a fungus, like phytophera. Very frustrating for me. I am hoping it is offered in the Fall for winter gardening.
