Am I the only one hoping you were going to take us all the way to the start of our bloom season this year? 😆😍

I just planted North Wind Dancer recently. Also got Pigment of Imagination which I think you ordered as well?! Hoping I get to see them bloom this year. 🤞🏻

How does Enchanting Esmeralda do for you? It's been on my want list for a couple of years.

I might just end up doing that! I've still got a bunch of photos that never made it on here and I'm very happy to post them until we reach that moment ( and I'm pretty sure it was early August) where I could just post everything every day.

Enchanting Esmeralda is a good plant here. She has a decent amount of flowering, not crazy and grows pretty slowly. I planted two fans in May of 2021 and she is still only at three fans in 2024. If you look up the flower, you will notice that there is a "plant of the day" write up from January 10, 2016. I always try to check those if they are available. Apparently, she is very susceptible to rust but that wasn't my experience during my two rust outbreaks. Also, rust is not so much of a problem here if you don't import it.
So, she does ok for a Southern plant, much better than many.

I'm looking forward to Pigment of Imagination too, that was an impulse buy at the NEDS sale…

I used to think it was. I'm pretty sure G Wild sent it to me as Bama Music. But on looking at the entry here on NGA, I'm suspicious. My flower is very plain and pointy, Bama Music is more rounded. It's also consistently pinker with the midribs more obvious.
